Flying Scotsman Gauging Trip 11/03/16

Two Owen Springs employees recently had the opportunity to ride the Flying Scotsman from Pickering to Grosmont.

The trip, arranged by Riley and Son (Engineering) Ltd, was to thank the companies involved in the restoration of the famous locomotive.

Owen Springs replaced one of the leaf springs prior to the Flying Scotsman’s inaugural trip and are currently repairing and replacing the spare springs while the engine does its tour of the country.
